Nelson's journey in linguistic mastery began with his enrollment in the U.S. Navy Cryptologic Voice Transcription School, where he not only excelled but became one of the select few to graduate twice, specializing in Russian and Spanish. Upon retiring from the Navy, Nelson seamlessly transitioned into the realm of academia, bringing his unparalleled expertise to the classrooms of Wentworth College in Missouri.
