Originally from Baltimore, Maryland, Russell's life took a significant turn when his family relocated to the breathtaking landscapes of Montana during his childhood. His deep affection for Montana's natural beauty is evident in his work, particularly his book set in the Bitterroot Mountains, where he spent his formative years. Although he hasn't encountered Bigfoot personally, his enthusiasm for the subject drives his commitment to research and follow up on leads.
After completing his education in Montana, Russell embarked on a journey to find his calling, always drawn back to the familiar embrace of Montana's scenery. Despite the demands of his career, Russell persisted in his writing endeavors, completing the first installment of his trilogy in 2012 and subsequently releasing 'Bigfoot and the Tripwire' in 2016. His life philosophy centers around hard work, dedication, and a belief in the undiscovered possibilities of the world. He remains optimistic about the potential for tangible evidence of Bigfoot, whether discovered in his lifetime or continuing as a subject of ongoing search and speculation.
