At the heart of this fearless band are four remarkable individuals, each bringing their own unique skills and expertise to the pursuit of cryptids.
Wild Bill Neff, a seasoned tracker and big-game hunter, embodies raw determination and unyielding resolve. With his Marine Corps background and extensive experience in the wilderness, Wild Bill fearlessly leads the charge, tracking monsters through dense forests and scaling treacherous terrain with unmatched tenacity. His boundless energy and infectious enthusiasm infuse the team with vigor, driving them ever forward in their quest for the truth.
Willy McQuillian, the ingenious trap builder and co-founder of the Appalachian Investigators of Mysterious Sightings (A.I.M.S), stands as a testament to resourcefulness and ingenuity. With a keen eye for salvage and a deep understanding of woodcraft, Willy crafts traps capable of ensnaring even the most elusive of creatures. Drawing on his expertise as a tree trimmer, he expertly selects materials from the natural world, fashioning intricate contraptions designed to outsmart the cunning denizens of the mountains.
Huckleberry Lott, towering in stature and gentle in spirit, serves as the stalwart guardian of the team. A US Marine veteran with over five decades of backwoods experience, Huckleberry brings a sense of calm amidst the chaos of the hunt. His watchful gaze and unwavering dedication ensure the safety of his comrades as they navigate the treacherous nocturnal landscapes, confronting the unknown with courage and resolve.
And then there's Buck Lowe, the youthful prodigy of the group, whose prowess as an expert caller adds a vital dimension to their endeavors. Despite his relative inexperience, Buck's willingness to learn and unwavering determination make him an invaluable asset to the team. Enduring the teasing of his older companions with good humor, he stands ready to face whatever challenges the wilderness may present.
Together, Wild Bill, Willy, Huckleberry, and Buck form the backbone of the A.I.M.S team, forging ahead into the unknown with courage and camaraderie.
